Overview
Lindy, an AI startup, needed a Chrome extension that could bring its AI Executive Assistant into the tools people already use every day — beginning with inbox management across Gmail and Outlook.
Challenge
The extension was part of a broader push around user retention and continued growth, bringing Lindy directly into daily work. As the sole contracted designer, I owned the product experience from onboarding and injection patterns to end-to-end flows, component creation, and interaction behaviours.
Approach
The design needed to include key components and features. Lindy appears across Gmail, Outlook,YouTube, LinkedIn, and other everyday tools. This was an opportunity to make AI agent actions visible and tangible: showing users what had been labeled, drafted, summarized, or handled instead of hiding work behind automation.
